As
a former business owner, Bob has first-hand experience with the challenges and
opportunities of growing and managing a company and can relate to how emotional
the process of selling a business can be.
In addition to selling his own company, Bob has purchased multiple
businesses before and understands what is important from the buyer’s
perspective. Bob possesses the qualities
necessary for a business broker to have including a strong accounting/financial
background, attention to detail and excellent negotiation skills. His past success in business can be
attributed to hard work, strong ethics and extraordinary customer service. Bob’s knowledge and abilities will help the
business owner position, value and market their business for maximum
return.
After
graduating from Augsburg College with a degree in Finance (minor in
Accounting), Bob started a transportation/logistics company which grew to 93
employees and over $3,000,000 in revenues.
He sold the company to Fidelity Capital, a division of Fidelity
Investments. Bob has also been a general
manager for a large respiratory health care company (2 years) and managed an
accounting/financial consulting service for Robert Half International (5 years)
before joining Sunbelt Business Brokers as a licensed agent in Minnesota.
