Kathy has been with Sunbelt Business brokers for five years.  During that time, she has successfully helped countless people buy and sell businesses.  Her experience ranges from owning several businesses to large corporations coupled with multiple functional disciplines.  
Kathy began her career and spent over 20 years working as a Project Director of Communications Research Incorporated, a Chicago-based marketing and advertising research firm, overseeing all qualitative and quantitative research studies for Fortune 500 companies. In 1985, Kathy purchased a marine-related service business which she eventually sold in 1996 after expanding the service territory through the entire Midwest region. After the successful sale of the Marine business, she acquired and ran a Midwest based manufacturing company.
As a small business owner, she has acquired valuable insights into the day to day operations and challenges that business owners continually face. Collectively, these experiences have given Kathy the ability to identify key issues in the process of buying or selling a business.  In a specialized service business such as this, she attributes her success to upholding professional business ethics at all times, while providing extraordinary customer service.  Most importantly, Kathy believes in what she does, and recognizes her role as an intermediary to champion, protect, and oversee, the transfer process of a very valuable, as well as highly personal asset such as one’s own business.
