Profile: John Groppoli

John Groppoli is Sunbelt’s Franchise Specialist in the Midwest. John Works with prospective franchise buyers from many different backgrounds in Minnesota and Wisconsin to seek out franchise opportunities that match their skill set while also fueling their passion. John has each client fill out a no-cost confidential needs analysis profile, which gives him a better understanding of interest, background and finances. John helps his clients through every step in the process from presenting franchise opportunities, finding initial financing and getting sound legal council. John has been a successful business owner and entrepreneur.

Early in his career John ran a painting business in the Minnesota market managing 12 individuals and targeting the residential & commercial markets. John was one of the original partners in a Minnesota start-up company that launched (3) new web-based products to the financial services industry during 2000-2004. These products were eventually purchased by CBS MarketWatch in 2004. Prior to coming over to Sunbelt John was Director, Inside Sales with MarketWatch Inc, a division of Dow Jones. He was responsible for growing the NE territory selling news and financial content to financial institutions, media and corporate companies. John joined Sunbelt in 2005 because he enjoys helping individuals achieve their dream of not only owning their own business but also in operating one they will enjoy.
