Mark Huber is a strategic thinker, master communicator and successful entrepreneur. With over 20 years in the world of small business, he understands the needs, concerns and goals of those who have started and grown their own companies; and those who wish to purchase them. His degree in Interdepartmental Communications from Elmhurst College provides a solid foundation to facilitate the communication between buyer and seller at all levels of a deal.
Mark began his career in marketing and oversaw the roll out of a Field Sales Guide for the 25,000 retails sales force of Zenith Electronics. From this successful venture, Mark decided to launch his own business brokering engineered components largely for the automotive, telecommunications, transportation and defense industries. Mark ran this business from 1990 and over a 20 year period managed projects totaling over $25 million. As a procurement consultant, Mark was instrumental in helping mid-sized manufacturers reduce their costs while using only U.S suppliers.
From 2004 to 2007 Mark was a partner a successful e-commerce company which grew from $0 to over $1 mil in annual revenues in three years. This business was successfully sold to a larger competitor and resulted in a nice outcome for the partners.
Mark has served as an advisor for 11 separate entrepreneurial ventures and has been published in a number of trade magazines. Mark is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker and an expert in the marketplace for residential rental properties in Downtown Chicago. Using these skills and insights, he helps guide buyers and sellers through the transition of ownership tirelessly striving to ensure a mutually beneficial execution.
