Profile: Marvin Baker

Marvin Baker is a Senior Broker of Sun Street LLC, an affiliate of Chicagoland Sunbelt. Chicagoland Sunbelt is part of the Sunbelt Network which is the world’s largest business brokerage firm. Sun Street LLC was formed to expand Chicagoland’s growing business brokerage activities into the metropolitan Chicago area.

Marvin has ten years of corporate management and training background and twenty years of entrepreneurial business experience with extensive experience in business development, and business brokerage of service, transportation, distribution and e-commerce industries. He began his career working for publicly traded national retail and restaurant companies where he managed multi-unit operations and was a national Training Director responsible for developing state of the art learning systems.

Since leaving the corporate environment, Marvin has owned, developed, operated, and sold his own businesses including multi-unit steak and seafood restaurants, HVAC, accounting, business consulting as well as multi-unit business brokerage offices in Florida prior to joining Sun Street LLC. He has been a national sales leader in the business brokerage industry for the past 5 years. Marvin holds an undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida and has extensive business turnaround experience.
