Erica joined Sunbelt in October 2021 to lead an advanced strategy to enhance and extend the company’s mergers and acquisitions operations as part of a process that will lead Sunbelt to significant movement in the marketplace.
She is focused on the Sunbelt M&A team’s work with business founders in the lower middle market when they are ready to exit their business. She helps ensure the M&A team’s experience and knowledge adds value to all aspects of M&A transactions. Her experience has added a new dimension to Sunbelt’s reputation as a key ingredient in successful lower middle market mergers and acquisitions.
Erica works with all members of the M&A team to build an organization of extraordinarily high caliber individuals to ensure the continued, strong strategic trajectory of our mergers and acquisitions business.
Prior to joining Sunbelt, Erica was managing partner at Cornerstone Business Services where she led all aspects of service and growth for the company including day-to-day operations, buyer and seller support, and coordination of all projects through the marketing and due diligence process. In addition, she managed the deal support team and investment bankers on the strategic direction. She joined Cornerstone in 2016, bringing direct operational experience from a global private equity firm.
Erica holds a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a master’s degree in management and organizational behavior with an emphasis on leadership from Silver Lake College.
