Alan Horwitz graduated with a degree in Business Entrepreneurship from Indiana University. During a long and distinguished business career as a business sales consultant he has also owned and operated various successful businesses including an advertising company, an Internet distributor, a retail software store and various national franchise restaurants including McDonald’s, Tropical Smoothie Café’s and CiCi’s Pizza.
In addition, Alan has acted as an outside consultant for the Small Business Administration, has been involved in business sales, mergers and acquisitions across almost every industry. Alan is extremely experienced and qualified with regards to both financing and creative deal structuring. Over the last 30 years Alan has been an outside consultant in the area of business valuations and in preparing businesses for a future sale. Alan has sold an extremely high percentage of his listings. Over the last 10 years, Mr. Horwitz has consistently been one of the top ten producing brokers in the Sunbelt Network system. Recent business sales include a Las Vegas Casino, an entire National Franchise System, a Specialty Pharmacy, a large Executive Suites Company and various other Retail businesses, Service businesses, Manufacturers and Distributers.
Mr. Horwitz is familiar with valuing, marketing and selling businesses that range in value from as little as $100,000 to as high as $50 million. In the last 2 years Mr. Horwitz has developed a close and ongoing relationship with MainStreetChamber of Commerce and is now the exclusive broker for their members nationwide.
