Ideal M&A Advisor candidates possess 1) experience facilitating multi-million dollar transactions, or 2) experience selling their own company, or 3) private equity or similar experience.

What is an M&A Advisor?

The primary role of an M&A Advisor is to help owners sell their companies when they are ready to exit.

Business Development

Source and secure engagements through relationships with other professionals such as wealth managers, accountants and attorneys.

Evaluation

Work with M&A team to evaluate a business from a financial and operational perspective to develop an opinion of market value.

Marketing

Once an engagement is signed, the M&A team will confidentially market to Strategic and Financial buyers.

Meetings & Calling for Indications of Interest

Manage the process with the M&A team, including screening buyers, meetings with ownership, pre-due diligence, financing the deal and calling for offers.

Transaction Management

Work with sellers, buyers, bankers, accountants, attorneys, and third parties to ensure a successful completion of the transaction.

Who are we looking for?

Most are former business owners, experienced intermediaries, sales professionals, or have come from transaction-oriented industries. They possess strong sales, leadership, negotiation, management, or finance experience and are known to be persistent and resilient.  Incoming advisors will be expected to have or be willing to secure the appropriate license.

Compensation

Brokers and Advisors are commission only and are independent contractors.

  • Top M&A Advisors can earn $250,000 – $1,000,000+
  • Top brokers can earn $250,000 – $500,000.
